TitleCall for Papers: 5th Annual AZCALL
Body

From the Calico-L listserv:

AZCALL is a one-day conference held each year that brings together computer-assisted language learning enthusiasts from around the state and region to share ideas, network, and receive valuable feedback on scholarly research, academic papers, and major conference presentations which are in progress or preparation. We are very pleased to host Dr. Steve Thorne (Portland State University) and Dr. Jonathon Reinhardt (University of Arizona) as our invited speakers. This year, AZCALL will be held on November 10, 2018 at the ASU Tempe Campus. AZCALL 2018 is organized by The CALL Club at ASU.

We seek proposals for paper and technology fair presentations from researchers and developers working in any area of computer-assisted language learning and teaching. We particularly welcome proposals with well-defined theoretical frameworks connected to research in SLA, CALL, L2 pedagogy, and related fields. Projects displaying innovative research methods and topics are highly encouraged.

Paper presentations will last 20 minutes, followed by a 10 minutes Q&A. Tech-fair presentations may showcase specific tools, apps, or other CALL materials. There will be two dedicated time slots on the program (30-minutes each) for tech-fair presentations. Presenters are asked to be available for both 30-minute time slots.

All proposals must be submitted via the abstract submission form.
The deadline for submissions is July 30, 2018 at 11:59 pm AZ time.
Proposal acceptances will be sent on September 3, 2018.
For more information please contact the conference organizers at AZCALL2018@gmail.com.
