Now in its 23rd year, the program offers thirteen institutes on a wide range of topics that are all designed to link research and theory with practical applications for the classroom. Developing Assessments for the Second Language Classroom After an overview of assessment fundamentals, participants will learn how to create a standards-based performance assessment unit using the principles of Backward Design.
