The Symposium for American Indian Languages (SAIL) 2018 will be hosted by the Linguistic Department of the University of Ottawa on April 13-14, 2018. It will happen in conjunction with the 23rd Workshop on Structure and Constituency in Languages of the Americas (WSCLA) and hosted by the Linguistics Department of the University of Ottawa.

SAIL brings together scholars, members of the indigenous communities, native speakers, educators and language activists who are interested in sharing experiences and best practices on topics related to language documentation, conservation and revitalization.

SAIL welcomes the active participation of indigenous communities, native language speakers, and those interested in revitalization and preservation of their heritage languages and cultures.
