TitleConference: Central States 2005
Body
This year the Ohio Foreign Language Association is sponsoring a joint
conference with the Central States Conference, which means we will be
hosting folks from 16 other states!

Participants will have the opportunity to choose from around 200 sessions
and workshops (double the usual number for our own conferences), which
include "Best of" sessions from most of the 17 states.

Myriam Met, Acting Director of the National Foreign Language Center at the
University of Maryland, will give the Keynote Address. Wayne P. Lawson of
the Ohio Arts Council will speak at the conference luncheon. This year's
program includes a wide variety of sessions and workshops for all levels and
languages, and, for the first time in Ohio, a TPRS strand. Nationally-known
TPRS presenters Susan Gross and Karen Rowan will each be doing
workshops there. The AATF is sponsoring a concert by Josée Vachon, and
several other language-specific organizations will offer receptions.
