| Body | From https://sites.google.com/nyu.edu/language-pedagogy Techniques and Technologies for Teaching World Languages Sponsored by the Office of the Dean for Humanities, the 1st Annual NYU Conference on Second Language Pedagogy will provide an opportunity for language instructors to exchange innovative research and effective practices, discuss successes and challenges of teaching second/foreign languages, and create opportunities for further collaboration. The organizers invite proposals from faculty and graduate students for papers (20 minutes) on the following topics: Heritage language learner instruction: issues, approaches, techniques In addition to the above panels, the organizers seek proposals for an interactive pedagogy workshop (60 minutes) on the topics related to the theme of the conference.
