Wikipicto is a fairly large collection of Spanish words paired with images and, amazingly, defined by sentences in which each word is also represented by an image: see an example here: https://www.wikipicto.com/pictograma-ampliado.php?id=423. This website could serve as a resource for young learners or those with limited literacy to look up words, and it can also give teachers and students ideas for how to visually represent different words, including some content words.
