The 26th EUROCALL conference will be held at the University of Jyväskylä, in Finland, from 22nd -25th August 2018. 

The EuroCALL 2018 conference aims to explore the opportunities and challenges of language teaching and learning in technology-rich environments today and tomorrow. The theme of the conference "Future-proof CALL: Language Learning as Exploration and Encounters" opens up the floor for discussion ranging from theories to research topics in the field. What language teaching will look like in the future when the ever-increasing normalization of technologies transform the ways and environments in which languages are used in fundamental ways? What are the theoretical boundaries and practical habits we should cross and break to create sustainable futures for language teaching?

The organizers invite submissions that explore and discuss one or more of the following sub themes from the perspective of the teaching organization, teaching staff, students, researchers, environments and contexts. All sub themes are naturally located in the domains of language use, language learning and learning technologies.
