The mission of the non-profit Northern Region ENL PLC is to create a space where professionals with a variety of expertise in ELL/MLL education come together voluntarily to promote a sense of camaraderie and belonging through a support system that shares, collaborates and networks from a common understanding and respect they have for their field and for each other. The organization meets quarterly in Liverpool, New York, and advocates for English language learners in central and northern New York State’s rural and suburban school districts. 

The Northern ENL PLC’s website has a wealth of resources, such as information about co-teaching, English learners with disabilities, language-specific bilingual resources, curriculum, and reading materials and pedagogical suggestions.
