The 2017 COFLT Conference will take place at the University of Oregon on October 13-14, 2017. The theme is "Experience It!" 

 

Focus Areas for submitting proposals are

• Pedagogy & Practice: Practical language pedagogy, classroom practices, tips, tricks & tools, cultural practices. (Comprehensible Input [CI], heritage classes, Organic World Language [OWL], classroom management, etc.)

• Advocacy & Service: promotion of language & culture education, service learning, community engagement. (Social justice, critical pedagogy, advocacy for students of poverty, etc.)

• Scholarship & Research: in language acquisition, linguistics, pedagogy, intercultural topics, cultural practice or related subjects. (mini-grant recipients, masters and doctoral candidates, etc.)

 

Priority Submission Deadline: Friday, July 1, 2017. Additional proposals will be reviewed and accepted as space in the schedule allows.
