2017 Comprehensible Iowa Conference

The conference theme for 2017 is Harvesting a Comprehensible Classroom. The conference will offer three session types: Beginner, Experienced, and General Sessions. Beginner sessions are for those world language teachers who have not been to a CI/TPRS training, who have only dabbled in CI/TPRS practices, and those who are not completely comfortable with the basics of CI/TPRS. Experienced sessions are for world language teachers who have been to a CI/TPRS training, who have used CI/TPRS at least a full year in all their classes, and those who feel comfortable with basic strategies. General Sessions are good for both groups. The keynote speaker will be Carrie Toth, National Board certified Spanish teacher and 2014 Central States Teacher of the Year.
