5-Question Profile for Lara Kim Higgins, Graphic Designer for CASLS.

1. What is your role at CASLS? What types of projects do you usually work on?

I’m a graphic designer at CASLS and typically work on projects that have some kind of visual component, from designing materials for the ACTFL conference to digital graphics for language learning apps.

2. What are your areas of interest/expertise?

I studied languages and fine arts in college - two areas that I never expected to combine well, but it ended up being a perfect background coming into CASLS as a graphic designer.

3. What do you like best about working at the University of Oregon and living in Eugene?

I’ve been so privileged to meet so many amazing people at the University of Oregon, it’s a really special place to study, work, and live. My favorite thing is hands down being part of the CASLS team, who are the coolest group of passionate individuals that I’ve met during my years here.

4. If you could have any super power, what would it be and why?

Silly and impractically, I wish I could fly! Otherwise, I wish I could teleport so I could travel the world and skip the airlines, hah.
