It is located on the shore of Lake Biwa in the City of Hikone, Shiga Prefecture, Japan. The 2017 symposium will take place June 3-4. Proposals are solicited for panels, roundtables, individual papers, and workshops for all fields in areas related to Japanese culture, language, and English language.
