The Pacific Educator is published three times a year and contains news and
articles from the five Pacific Resources for Education and Learning (PREL)
program areas (Mathematics and Science, Pacific Center, PR*TEC,
PRELSTAR, and the Regional Educational Laboratory). Each issue focuses
on a topic of interest to Pacific educators in Hawaii and the U.S.-affiliated
Pacific islands served by PREL. The theme for the October issue of the Pacific
