The Forum for Classics, Libraries, and Scholarly Communication — also known as the Classics Librarians’ Forum — brings together librarians and researchers interested in classical studies, in order to promote timely exchange of information and ideas. Members also collaborate on projects of mutual concern.

Active Projects:
•    Building Instructional Support for Classics Research and Teaching
•    This initiative, which began in 2015, aims to foster collaboration on the development of shared resources for library instruction in research skills and digital scholarship and pedagogy. Collaborators from FCLSC and the Digital Classicists Association are developing a LibGuide page.
•    Best Practices for Open Access Monographs’ Visibility
•    In 2014, FCLSC members participated in a round table discussion, “Open Access Books: The Problem of Visibility.” The conversation yielded a call for a list of best practices for publishers and libraries.
•    Open Greek and Latin Project
•    FCLSC members are developing a plan to build an open corpus of Classical Greek and Latin in collaboration with Greg Crane, the Editor-in-Chief of Perseus and the Humboldt Professor of Computer Science at the University of Leipzig, and Lenny Muellner, Director of IT and Publications at the Center for Hellenic Studies.
