The Elevate Certificate is a 16-credit fully online graduate program dedicated to the theory and practice of technology integration in the language classroom, offered through the University of Colorado Boulder. Two courses will be offered in early 2017.

LGTC 5030: Tools in Practice
10 week course: January 14th to March 25th, 2017
This course will introduce you to 9 major language technology themes (flipped learning, CI and technology, intercultural competence, digital storytelling, digital writing tools, gamification, social media and Internet safety and assessment). You will explore the educational potential of each theme through scholarly readings, discussion and lesson planning.

LGTC 5040: Telecollaboration & Language Learning
8 week course: April 1st to May 27th, 2017
Telecollaboration refers to the practice of pairing students or groups of students to native speakers of the target language through video conferencing tools for the specific purpose of increasing their language and cultural proficiency. In this course, you will learn about the companion methodology and instructional approaches to make such exchanges successful.
