| Title | Workshop: Middle Eastern Perspectives in the Classroom |
| Body | The National Council for the Social Studies is hosting a one-day workshop for high school teachers. The workshop, “In Their Own Voices: Middle Eastern Perspectives in the Classroom,” will take place December 1. Participants will visit several DC venues to experience the voices of Middle Eastern refugees, artists, comedians, musicians, and more. They will also receive a resource pack with many classroom-ready strategies for incorporating diverse, authentic perspectives.
