Effective Strategies for Grade K-5 Teachers to Support English Learners

This workshop is for elementary instructional staff interested in strategies that can be used to make academic content accessible to all students, with an emphasis on English Learners (ELs).

•    Focus will be on specific scaffolding strategies that will help educators provide clear and accessible content and academic language to EL students.
•    Instructors will model a variety of scaffolds and provide opportunities for each educator to collaborate about implementing instructional strategies that make content accessible and fun for all students.
