The Goethe-Institut is offering three days of advanced training for German teachers:
Project Based Learning in the German Classroom. The training will take place in Chicago, October 28-30, 2016.

Project Based Learning promotes creativity, critical thinking, self-direction, and teamwork to create solutions to real world issues or problems. It also offers the opportunity to integrate different subjects. Through PBL, students will become more engaged with the subject content.

The advanced training will focus on

•    What is Project Based Learning (PBL) and how can it be integrated into the German classroom?
•    How different disciplines can work together
•    How to integrate technology, i.e. the flipped classroom
•    Various teaching methods
•    Developing a project

The Goethe-Institut provides accommodations in double rooms in Chicago and travel expenses up to a maximum of $350 to/from Chicago.
