Bringing Meaningful and Authentic Experiences to Young Language Learners: An interactive conversation to get ready for a success

Starting off the new year in need of some fresh ideas for young learner engagement? Have questions about introducing authentic materials and experiences into your classroom? The Language Learning for Children SIG invites you to join them in an interactive conversation with Amanda Seewald, M.Ed., about innovative ideas for bringing meaningful and authentic experiences to the early language learning classroom.

Based on her work as the Author and Director of the MARACAS Spanish Program for Young Learners and the new animated series MARACAS La Clase del Mundo, as well as her work with educators and schools across the country, Amanda will discuss how to engage young language learners through the use of dynamic and meaningful content in the P-8 classroom.

This will be an interactive presentation that invites questions and comments from participants in the hope that everyone will come away with plans and ideas to implement in their classrooms—on the next day or in the near future!
