"On the Path to Language Teaching" (Oregon LTS Language Career) is a set of free interactive online modules for job applicants who want to make a great impression in their applications and interviews for teaching positions, as well as for teacher educators who may use the materials in certificate or graduate programs.

These original text and audiovisual materials were developed by the Language Teaching Specialization MA program in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Oregon. Users must complete a brief registration.

Some of the most innovative features include:
•  More than 50 video clips from over a dozen unscripted mock interviews of aspiring language teachers AND audio commentary on each clip from 3-4 stakeholders and experts. Users can compare their own impressions of the clips with those of the stakeholders.
•  A multiple-choice self-assessment prior to the materials, as well as a post-assessment to measure progress.
•  A variety of example application materials and tips specific to language teaching, including comparing and contrasting CVs and resumes, and cover letters that have been tailored to different positions.
