The 2016 joint Confederation in Oregon for Language Teaching and Washington Association for Language Teaching conference will take place at Sheraton Portland Airport on October 13-15, 2016.

Proposals for presentations are being solicited. Focus Areas for submitting proposals are

  •  Pedagogy & Practice: Practical language pedagogy, classroom practices, tips, tricks & tools, cultural practices.
  •  Advocacy & Service: promotion of language & culture education, service learning, community engagement.
  •  Scholarship & Research: in language acquisition, linguistics, pedagogy, intercultural topics, cultural practice or related subjects.

Priority Submission Deadline: Friday, July 1, 2016. Additional proposals will be reviewed and accepted as space in the schedule allows.
