The Miromaa software applications have been around for several years, helping language researchers and activists put language into databases that can be exported into other non-Miromaa programs to create dictionaries.

Now, the Miromaa Community Dictionary Maker comes as a new feature built right into the Miromaa software program. Also coming soon is an iOS app for language study.

The Miromaa software package is available for sale; however, Indigenous, Aboriginal, or Torres Strait Islander people or researchers or researchers working with them may be able to receive Miromaa at no cost.
