The 17th annual Texas Language Education Research (TexLER) Conference is pleased to announce their Call for Papers for their 2016 conference, February 19-20 in San Antonio, Texas. The Texas Language Education Research (TexLER) Conference, formerly known as TexFLEC, is an annual conference that brings together researchers, educators, and students in the fields of foreign language education, TEFL/TESL (Teaching English as a Foreign or Second Language), linguistics, and applied linguistics. The organizers have changed the name this year to reflect an evolving emphasis on supporting research in language education more broadly amongst graduate students, faculty, and educators. This year TexLER will also host the “3rd International Research Colloquium: Educational Linguistics and Language Education”, which seeks to connect language education researchers in the U.S. and Mexico and beyond.
