The American Association of Teachers of German is for teachers of German at all levels of instruction and all those interested in the teaching of German. If you’re not a member, take a moment to read this message from Dr. Mohamed Esa, AATG’s president.

“I hope that your vacations are off to a great, relaxing start. Though things may have slowed down for the summer, AATG is still hard at work, striving to meet your professional needs and adapting offerings to keep you on the cutting edge of German-language education.

“The AATG Discussion List is one of many AATG resources for networking with colleagues. It is wonderful that AATG can offer this service to keep German-teaching professionals informed and always collaborating. I am always amazed at the great teaching resources AATG members so willingly share with each other to strengthen our community.

“Being an AATG member is critical to keeping our community strong and to ensuring its future. If you are not an AATG member or if you've let your membership lapse, I invite you to rejoin AATG. Your membership helps us to serve you, and enables us to expand and improve AATG programs and services. Remember, everyone from young students to seasoned, retired teachers are welcome in the AATG, and I encourage you to be an active member of our community.
