The Southwest Conference on Language Teaching Chinese Scholarship is a professional development opportunity to study abroad for Chinese language educators in the elementary, secondary and post-secondary levels from Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawai'i, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah.

Successful scholarship applicants will be asked to join SWCOLT. A total of twenty scholarships will be awarded by the Chinese Language Center, SCU (Soochow University). The scholarships cover tuition, room, and board. The applicants will be expected to cover their travel expenses. The scholarships will be formally presented at the Scholarships presentation at the Southwest Conference on Language Teaching in Hawai'i in March, 2016.

The deadline to apply for this scholarship is September 30, 2015.
