The German-American Heritage Museum in Washington, D.C., has launched an exhibit showcasing the influence that German-speaking immigrants had on the Hollywood film industry. Titled "100 Years of Hollywood - the Laemmle Effect", the exhibit traces the effect that German filmmakers, directors, producers, actors and composers had on the industry in the early 20th century and beyond.
