The National Federation of Modern Language Teachers’ Associations (NFMLTA), the Modern Language Journal (MLJ) and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) are pleased to announce a call for applications for the NFMLTA/MLJ/ACTFL Dissertation Support Grants. The purpose of this collaboration between ACTFL and NFMLTA is to help support two graduate students during the research and writing phase of their dissertations that focus on the field of language teaching and learning. The specifics regarding the NFMLTA/MLJ/ACTFL Dissertation Support Grants are: The purpose of these grants is to support graduate students in the fields of applied linguistics and language education at the dissertation writing stage. These grants can provide resources to graduate students at any stage of dissertation writing, e.g., data gathering, familiarization with relevant research, data analysis, or write-up of the findings.
