Body | From http://cseas.berkeley.edu/filipino-language-and-culture-curriculum-development-project July 11– August 8, 2015 The Filipino Language and Culture Curriculum Development (FLCCD) Project is a four-week summer program specifically designed for K-12 teachers, community college instructors, college professors or Ph.D. candidates, who are committed to the improvement of the teaching of Filipino and Philippine culture. It will be held at the University of the Philippines-Diliman campus in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The project is organized and managed by the Center for Southeast Asia Studies at the University of California-Berkeley, in cooperation with the University of the Philippines College of Arts and Letters. It is funded by the U.S. Department of Education Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad program. Project Directors: Prof. Jeffrey Hadler and Dr. Maria-Josephine Barrios-Leblanc. Applicants are expected to have some proficiency in Filipino and must be citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. Applicants should be either a K-12 teacher, a community college instructor, or a professor at a four-year college or university. Advanced Ph.D. students working in the field of Philippine Studies are also welcome to apply.
