French professor Robert D. Peckham recently posted a reply on the FLTEACH listserv on the topic of “foreign-language program with a literary aura.” In his post he provides a link to a list of French combination majors by institution. These majors do not focus solely on literature and provide a combination degree for students of French. Your French students who may be applying for college next year might be interested in these college programs.
