If you didn’t discuss Nowruz last week, this is your last chance or wait until next year! Nowruz happens on the Spring Equinox, which this year (2015) was on Saturday, March 21. Check out this helpful PDF resource for teachers who wish to have their students learn about this holiday. The resources are geared toward K-12 classrooms of all subjects, not necessarily for language teachers, but the activities provide cultural information and ideas that can easily be adapted to fit into the language classroom.
