This article looks at some silly laws in Russia. These could be used in class as cultural reference to create a discussion, and maybe ask students to find other silly laws in their own countries. Alternatively, this topic would link well with the use of modal verbs, so it can help provide some practice using them (e.g. you mustn’t, you shouldn’t…)
