TitleSpeech Recognition Add-On for Google Documents
Body

From http://edtechnut.blogspot.ca

In this blog post, Kelly shows how to add a speech recognition tool to our Google documents. She recommends using it to promote writing among students who have poor handwriting or typing skills because they can just record themselves and the tool will do the typing for them. However, this add-on offers many more uses in language teaching. For example, learners can get immediate feedback on their pronunciation because the tool may or may not recognize their utterances. This is especially useful with non-phonemic languages like English or French to develop students’ awareness of the differences between spelling and pronunciation, but it could work with other languages too.
