TitleWhat is audioBoom?
Body

From: https://audioboom.com/
audioBoom is an online resource with a free and premium version that allows people to create web-based audio. You can record yourself or upload an MP3 audio recording. It is set up to be like a social networking site, complete with hashtags (#) and the ability to "follow" other users. I would liken it to an audio twitter: instead of writing a 140-character tweet, you can record or post a 10-minute (free version) audio file. In the classroom, teachers and students could use audioBoom to post recordings of themselves and of others in the target language, students could keep an audio journal in the target language, students and teachers could find and post audio in the target language around a certain topic, etc. For some ideas and how-to videos on how to use audioBoom and other free and premium web-based audio platforms, check out OneStopEnglish's article entitled "Tech Tools for Teachers: Podcasting" by Nik Peachey found at: http://www.onestopenglish.com/support/tech-tools-for-teachers/podcasting/
