Title | Oregon Roadmap to Language Excellence |
Body | From https://casls.uoregon.edu/roadmap/about.php Seven years ago, a group of over eighty leaders from business, government, and education convened by the University of Oregon’s Center for Applied Second Language Studies (CASLS) and supported by the federal government through The Language Flagship, a program of the National Security Education Program, developed the Oregon Roadmap to Language Excellence. The Oregon Roadmap to Language Excellence strives to create the conditions that will allow every Oregon graduate to be professionally proficient in English and functionally proficient in another language by 2025. The project’s website includes information about languages in Oregon, what multilingualism contributes to our state, and ideas for advocacy. Visit it at https://casls.uoregon.edu/roadmap/ |
