The Chinese Language Teachers Association of Virginia (CLTA-VA) aims to serve Chinese language educators at all educational levels not only in Virginia but also in its surrounding states. Interested parties in any regional areas are welcome to join the effort to connect with the global and international community by promoting Chinese language and culture in a wide spectrum.

In addition to its annual meeting in conjunction with FLAVA, the CLTA-VA also organizes a workshop, seminar, forum, or consortium every spring in different areas of the state.
