Immigrant Student Success: Models and Tools for K-12 and Adult Educators is aimed at teachers seeking to encourage the success of their immigrant students and to capitalize on the strengths of these students for the benefit of the entire classroom. Through interactive webinars and instructional videos, participants will learn about successful models and techniques for capitalizing on classroom diversity. They will also gain ideas for classroom activities and curriculum adaptation that can bring out the best in immigrant students. Through live chat and group exercises, participants can share and test their ideas with other educators from around the country. The workshop will take place July 9 and 10, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST.
