The XXI annual SCT & SLL Research Working Group Meeting will be sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures of the University of Miami (Florida). It will take place November 6-8, 2014.

The Sociocultural Theory and Second Language Learning Working Group is comprised of scholars from all over the world who share a common interest in sociocultural theory and language learning. Once a year the group comes together to discuss our understandings of Vygotsky's works and their applications to second language learning. This working group differs from traditional conferences in that the presentation of completed work is discouraged. Instead participants present their works in progress and expect to receive feedback from their peers.
