Games Afternoon
Sunday, 22 June 2014, 3 – 6 pm
Goethe-Institut Washington

The role-playing Harvest Game, designed to show the problems related to the exploitation of natural resources in the realm of competition, will challenge players to develop their fishing companies without compromising environmental sustainability.

Alongside Harvest Game, board and card games by German designers, including favorites such as Asara, Settlers of Catan, Lost Cities and Carcassonne, will be taught by staff from Labyrinth Games and Puzzles. The climate variation of Settlers of Catan, Oil Springs, will be taught by its creators, Erik Assadorian and Ty Hansen.
