The Arizona Department of Education will be following the process approved by the State Board of Education (SBE) in order to revise the current Arizona Foreign and Native Language Standards during the summer of 2014. District and charter K-12 educators, content/foreign language experts and higher education faculty from around the state of Arizona are encouraged to apply using the application below. The deadline for application submission is June 19, 2014. Applicants will be selected and will receive acceptance of their application no later than July 1, 2014. The revision process will involve both face-to-face meetings and virtual meetings with selected committee members. The entire process is expected to take six to nine months including the final drafts, public comment period and SBE approval in early 2015.
