The Council of Teachers of Southeast Asian Languages (COTSEAL) and the Southeast Asian Studies Summer Institute (SEASSI) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison sponsor the 22nd Annual Conference on Southeast Asian Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics on Friday, July 18th, and Saturday, July 19th, 2014 in 206 Ingraham Hall, University of Wisconsin-Madison. The theme for the conference is "New Challenges in Southeast Asian Language Teaching."

Papers and presentations could address (but are not limited to) the following topics: distance learning, funding issues, classroom management, oral and written discourse issues in language teaching. Each presentation should take no more than thirty minutes (20 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for questions and discussion).
