The 100,000 Strong in the Americas Capacity Building Workshop: Scaling-up US-Latin America Study Abroad Programs to Become Systems for Innovation and Impact will take place at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego in collaboration with the local higher education community.

Meet experienced international decision-makers from higher educational institutions (HEIs) in Latin America and North America who will present strategy, nuts-and-bolts advice, elements to success and new funding and collaboration models. Matchmaking to meet partner institutions. Learn how to compete for and win innovation funding.

This session is supported by funding from the US Department of State and is presented by the 100,000 Strong in the Americas Innovation Fund driven by Partners of the Americas, NAFSA and the US Department of State.

The workshop will take place immediately preceding the NAFSA 2014 Annual Conference San Diego–with the most international education professionals – the best place to meet colleagues, find new partners, build your capacity and exchange ideas.

All attendees must purchase a ticket.

Limited travel subsidies for non-US participants are available on a competitive basis.
