CERCLL is hosting a free symposium for K-12 Language Teachers, featuring two professional development workshops and a structured discussion session--a working lunch arranged in focus groups in which participants can discuss issues particularly relevant to their own teaching.

The two workshops are:

Carmen King de Ramírez, Arizona State University, Arizona Language Teacher of the Year (2013)
Interacting with the Global Community: Cultural Intelligence Activities for the Classroom

Paul Renigar and Stefano Maranzana, University of Arizona
Web 2.0 for Language Instruction and Intercultural Competence

This event is free, but registration is required and closes on March 7 or when space is filled.
