The Stage pédagogique de courte durée or SPCD is a training grant aimed at helping teachers perfect their skills in methodologies for teaching French language and culture. The SPCD grants are intended for teachers of French who work in American elementary or secondary schools. A special training is also offered for teachers working in French immersion programs. The training sessions last two weeks and take place in France at a training center selected by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy.
