| Title | Using pictures in the classroom |
| Body | I have used photos to help low-intermediate students with writing as well, specifically in asking questions as a brainstorming technique. I'll put 1 photo on different spots on the wall and large blank paper next to them. Then I'll have pairs of students choose a photo and list all the questions they can think of about their picture. You can focus on a number of things from there. You can have the students 1. answer their questions and write a story 2. evaluate each others' grammatical form 3. experience how they can use question asking with their own writing. Shipley, A.
