| Body | Harlan Community School District in Harlan, Iowa has a position open beginning the 2004-2005 school year. Spanish level 1 (possible level 2 possible middle school exploratory classes). Harlan is located 40 miles east of Omaha, Nebraska, and about 70 minutes west of Des Moines, Iowa. Our Spanish department has a strong grammar base and academic base. Our department uses the L to J model to assess vocabulary and grammatical growth. Most of our students test out at the third level year at Iowa and Iowa State University. Our department is a cohesive team and works to provide the best education for its students. We are looking for an experienced teacher who will be an asset to our program.
