Learning from Assessment

Whatever role you play as a leader - or future leader - in preparing and
mentoring early childhood educators, we invite you to join us in Baltimore.
The Institute is designed for:
* teacher educators
* program directors and administrators
* principals
* researchers
* curriculum and instructional coordinators
* teacher mentors and coaches
* resource and referral specialists
* educational consultants and trainers
* CDA trainers and advisors
* early childhood specialists in local and state departments of education
* Head Start directors and education managers
* advocates

Learning from AssessmentÂ…
Assessment has the power to help us gain new insights - about ourselves, our
programs, and the children and adults whose lives we touch. The benefits
and challenges of assessment will be a thread throughout NAEYC's four-day
National Institute for Early Childhood Professional Development, linking
research, public policy, and professional practice. You'll have opportunities to
discuss the latest research and ideas on early childhood development and
learning, and explore ways to use that information to support tomorrow's early
childhood educators - and tomorrow's children.
