| Body | 2004 Leadership Symposium September 23-25, 2004 "Growing Future Leaders: Keeping the Promise" Hilton El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort Tucson, Arizona As time goes by, community colleges across our nation are continually faced with incredible opportunities, brilliantly disguised as unsolvable problems. How do we see through the disguise to allow the opportunity to bloom? Great Leadership. But where will our future leaders come from? The single greatest problem facing our colleges today is developing future leaders to turn these problems into opportunities. NCCHC asks for your help to grow our own leaders and keep the promise for Hispanic faculty, students and administrators. To grow great leaders, NCCHC strives to plant the seeds of knowledge, especially the great depth of knowledge that exists in our membership. Therefore, we invite you to submit a proposal for a presentation at the 2004 Leadership Symposium, September 23-25, 2004, at the Hilton El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort in Tucson. Using your feedback from last years Symposium and current hot topics concerning Hispanic educators, the conference planning committee has identified the following topics for presentations. * Leadership * Governance and Communications (internal and external communications and Board relations) * Fundraising * Best Practices and Finding Solutions (in areas such as IT, administrative services and facilities management) * Marketing and Public Relations (for recruitment and community image) * Student Services and the Learning College (i.e financial aid, distance education and counseling) * Personal Growth Submit your proposal online at: http://www.ncchc.com/Call_for_Proposals2.htm Deadline to submit proposal: June 11, 2004 Visit http://www.ncchc.com/Symposium_Home_Page.htm to register for the conference. |
