| Body | There is a one year Spanish position coming open for 04-05. It would most likely be a .5 high school and .5 intermediate school position. The teacher would have their own room (in Intermediate School) and high school students will walk over to you (buildings next to each other and have same bell schedule). Probably three sections of high school Spanish in the morning (either all level 1, all level 3 or some level 1 and some level 3) with one prep period in the morning. In the afternoon there will be three teaching periods per day of Intermediate school Spanish I- might be all second half (8th grade), might be all first half (7th grade) or a combo and one prep period. We have 8 per day and teach 6. Those in both buildings do not typically have a duty. Intermediate school switching from having language every other day to having it every day for a semester. Both schools use En Espanol. We are located in the Phila suburbs. We are in the far western end of Chester county and the far eastern end of Lancaster County. We are approx 20 mins east of Lancaster, 30 mins north of Wilmington, and 20 mins west of West Chester. Must have valid PA certificate. We have approx 600 students 9-12 in high school and approx 600 students grades 6-8 in Int School.
