Body | This summer, PSU's Women's Studies Department will offer the following course: WS 339: Filipina Women in the U.S. CRN 82071, 4 credits 1:00-3:20p.m. Tuesday/Thursday June 22-August 15 Shattuck Hall RM 335 Instructor: D. Claire Oliveros, MS Education The course will examine history, culture, and literature focused on Filipinas in the United States emphasizing immigration, labor, family, and the Pacific Northwest. The course design will include interactive activities using readings, oral histories, films, guest speakers, creative arts, and writing techniques.
