| Body | From the Ohio Foreign Language Association listserv: In partnership with Miami University Confucius Institute, Ohio Association of Teachers of Chinese (OATC) will be hosting 2012 Ohio K-12 Chinese Language and Culture Teaching Workshop on September 22, 2012, Saturday in Columbus Ohio. Keynote Speech: Keep it Simple & Make it Fun (Speaker: Jian Gao, Belmont High School, Belmont, MA) Hands-on Culture Sessions: Chinese Knots (Xiaobin Liu, Dayton, OH) Through Chinese folk dance/Kongfu to learn the Language and Culture (Irina Sun, Ohio Wesleyan University) Teaching Chinese painting step to step to American students (Maan Broadstock, Centerville High School) This workshop is free to 2012-2013 OATC Members. Certification will be provided by Miami University Confucius Institute. Free lunch, free parking!
